Credentialing
Professional and specialty certification is important to many associations and the professions and industries they serve. For members, certification can be the key to professional status, recognition, financial success, and a sense of personal achievement.
AMC's credentialing experts have experience researching, developing, and implementing certification and recognition programs in various fields, including nursing and metal construction. We offer full- or partial-service administration of credentialing programs, depending upon the level of service your organization requires, including the following:
- development and implementation of equitable and consistent policies, procedures, and bylaws
- design and administration of application and registration processes
- liaison with and oversight of the testing company
- organization and staffing of board and committee meetings
- assistance with examination development and administration
- problem solving and effective customer service
- maintenance of official certification and recertification records
- preparation of helpful and accurate reports.
AMC's credentialing knowledge—of antitrust concerns, examination development, financial planning, and accreditation and recertification processes—is invaluable to defining programs appropriate to a profession or industry. We work collaboratively with clients to develop programs that are legally defensible and psychometrically sound. We can also suggest ways to improve existing certification and recognition programs and create marketing programs to help you increase the number of applicants who take the exams.
