Association Management Center Welcomes New Senior Project Manager

Glenview, IL—Association Management Center (AMC) is pleased to announce that, effective May 11, 2009, Karen Schrimmer has assumed the role of senior project manager. Schrimmer's first project will be mission critical—managing the implementation of Personify® association management software.

Schrimmer brings strong communication skills and solid experience in process improvement, service excellence, and change management. She has a demonstrated ability to manage all sides of a project—especially the interpersonal aspects—and acknowledges that for any project to succeed it is critical that all parties work together. AMC Principal Scott Engle comments, "Karen's expertise in applying Six Sigma methodology to improve processes and productivity will be an incredible asset to AMC and our clients. We are excited to have her as the strategic leader of our Personify migration team. Her experience with change management combined with her ability to organize, analyze, and synthesize complex information makes Karen the ideal strategic leader for this project."

Schrimmer joins AMC from Rush North Shore Medical Center, where she spent over 15 years, most recently serving as an internal consultant and Six Sigma leader. Karen holds a master's degree from the University of Chicago, a bachelor's degree in psychology from the University of Wisconsin, and Six Sigma certification from GE Healthcare Solutions.
