AMC Welcomes Rick Perry as Technical and Research Manager

Glenview, IL—Association Management Center (AMC) recently announced that Rick Perry has joined the staff as Technical and Research Manager. AMC has a number of trade associations in the construction marketplace and Perry will serve these organizations.

"We are delighted to have a seasoned professional in Rick Perry join our team," said Mark Engle, AMC principal and executive director of the Metal Construction Association. "His experience in the standards and codes communities will significantly impact the work of our clients."

Perry comes to AMC from the Window & Door Manufacturers Association where he was involved in the development of performance standards, authored technical reports, and worked with committees to manage projects and publications.

"I am looking forward to bringing my knowledge of construction engineering and technical initiatives with associations to AMC clients to help further their missions," said Perry.

Perry holds a degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Toledo in Ohio and has more than 25 years experience with product design, and development and manufacturing in the residential and commercial building supply industry. He has professional training in project management and Lean Six Sigma.
