Hematology Oncology Pharmacy Association Selected AMC for Full-Service Management

Glenview, IL—The Hematology Oncology Pharmacy Association (HOPA) has selected Association Management Center (AMC) for full-service management. HOPA will relocate their association headquarters to Glenview, IL on June 1, 2010.

HOPA is a professional organization dedicated to supporting hematology/oncology pharmacy practitioners in optimizing cancer patient care. HOPA was founded in 2004.

Scott Engle, AMC Principal, comments, "We are pleased to have HOPA as an association partner. We are excited about working with HOPA's leadership to further their mission and continue the growth of the organization. HOPA is a nice complement to AMC's other hematology/oncology specialty partners."

Karen Nason, CAE, will serve as the executive director of HOPA. Nason has more than 15 years of experience in nonprofit management. She holds a BA in advertising from Michigan State University. Nason is looking forward to working with HOPA on their governance structure and developing new benefits for HOPA members
