Amy Sherwood receives 2022 Inspiring Leaders Award from Association Forum — Amy is recognized for being an inspiring, innovative, and inclusive association leader.

AMC awarded a Presidential Citation from AAHPM — AMC is awarded a 2022 Presidential Citation for making significant contributions to helping grow the field of hospice and palliative medicine.

2021

AANN wins a gold Trendy Award from Association Trends — AANN is awarded first place in the Marketing Automation category.

ABNN wins a gold Trendy Award from Association Trends — ANNN is awarded first place in the Promotion Kit or Campaign category.

Michelle Whitworth named an Association Forum Forty Under 40 recipient — Michelle is recognized for her work as a strategic event manager at AMC, dedication to advancing her skills, and sharing her passion and expertise for the industry.

Lauren Krauth named a Connect Association’s 40 Under 40 recipient — Lauren is recognized for her work as a strategic event manager, contributions to AMC's re-accreditation with AMCI, and involvement in the PCMA.

APHON wins Trendy Award from Association Trends — APHON is awarded first place in the Marketing Automation category.

Kari Messenger was honored with Connect Association magazine’s 40 Under 40 Award — Kari is recognized for her work as senior meetings manager at AMC and her dedication to her roles on the Association for Women in Events’ board of directors and Events Committee chair.

Steve Smith wins the Samuel B. Shapiro Award for Chief Staff Executive Achievement from Association Forum — Steve is honored for his outstanding service in association management.

2019

APHON wins bronze award in the Association Trends All Media Contest — APHON is recognized for its new interactive digital newsletter.

Laura Davis receives Association Professional Achievement Award — Laura Davis is honored for her contributions to the association industry by Association Forum.

2017

Solid Rock Carpenters wins Grand Award —Solid Rock Carpenters  is recognized for its website by the 2017 APEX Awards for Publication Excellence.

HOPA wins American Graphic Design Award — HOPA is recognized for its annual report design by the 2017 Graphic Design USA Awards.

Mark Engle inducted into the Metal Construction Hall of Fame — Mark Engle is honored for being an unrelenting advocate for the metal construction industry.

2016

APHON wins gold and Silver ASAE Power of A Awards — APHON’s Pediatric Chemotherapy and Biotherapy Provider Program awarded gold in the Power to Make a Better World category and silver in the Power to Create a Competitive Workforce category.

ISANTA wins APEX Excellence Award —ISANTA’s redesigned website wins in the Most Improved Website category.

AAHPM awarded Profiles of Excellence Award —AAHPM is honored by the American Association of Medical Society Executives (AAMSE) for its efforts to advance the field of organized medicine and improve the lives of the physicians and patients they serve.

AANN wins Graphic Design USA Health + Wellness Design Award —AANN is honored for outstanding graphic communications.

2015

AMC Named a Best Place to Work – The company was named to the Best Places to Work in Illinois list for the fourth time since 2010.

Kay Granath Receives John C. Thiel Award from Association Forum of Chicagoland – Director of Meetings and Conventions, Kay V. Granath, CMP CAE, received the John C. Thiel Distinguished Services Award from the Association Forum of Chicagoland.

Five AMC staff members were named to the association industry's Forty Under 40 list. They include Amanda Belknap, Liz Giannini, Stephanie Mercado, Emily Muse and Jordan Wildermuth. Learn more

AMC Named a Best Place to Work – AMC was named on the Best Places to Work in Illinois list for the third time in 5 years.

Steve Smith Receives John C. Thiel Award – AMC Account Executive Steve Smith, MS CAE, received the John C. Thiel Distinguished Service Award from the Association Forum of Chicagoland.

Bruce Hammond and Amy Sherwood Named to Forty Under 40 List – AMC senior managers Bruce Hammond and Amy Sherwood, CAE, were included in the second annual association industry Forty Under 40 list.

Association Real Estate Award – AMC was recognized by ASAE Business Services and Savills Studley with the 2014 Association Real Estate Award.

IT Department Receives Most Effective Team Award– AMC’s Information Technology Department received the Most Effective Team award from the Association of Information Technology Professionals and the Society of Information Management.  

2013

Dionne Wilson Named to Forty Under 40 List – Account executive Dionne Wilson, CAE, was honored in the association industry's inaugural Forty Under 40 list.

Marilyn Jansen Receives John C. Thiel Award – AMC Director of Marketing & Business Development Marilyn Jansen received the John C. Thiel Distinguished Service Award from Association Forum of Chicagoland.

2011

AMC Named a Best Place to Work – AMC was named one of the Best Places to Work in Illinois for the second time.

Mark Engle Receives Samuel B. Shapiro Award – AMC principal Mark Engle, DM CAE FASAE, received the Samuel B. Shapiro Award for CEO Excellence from the Association Forum of Chicagoland.

2010

AMC Receives Spirit Award from Professional Convention Management Association – The company received the Professional Convention Management Association’s Spirit Award, which honors an industry organization that has significantly affected lives in a charitable or humanitarian way.
