ARN Gets a Fresh Look

The Association of Rehabilitation Nurses (ARN) recently overhauled its brand and website. It had been many years since the group last updated its look, so the primary focus of this effort was determining how to align the logos, color palette, and typefaces to better reflect ARN’s current goals and vision. The designers worked extensively with ARN staff to understand the scope of the member experience, determine what applications were necessary, and discuss best practices for the industry as a whole. They then presented several visual concepts that conveyed ARN members’ commitment to helping their patients return to a new normal, using cyclical and circular elements to emphasize this journey. The result of the effort is an updated ARN brand with fresh colors and fonts, five new complementary logos, and a reconfigured website with better organized content. A brand style guide was created to help inform future projects, and members have already expressed their pleasure at having a website that is easy to navigate and fun to look at.
