AMC Executive Steve Smith Named One of Top U.S. Association CEOs in 2012

Steve Smith, CAE, Executive Director of the American Academy of Hospice and Palliative Medicine was recently recognized by CEO Update, a news source on executive career and pivotal events that shape the association sector, as one of the top U.S. association CEOs for 2012. He was one of six honored this year and the only one from a national medical specialty society. An individual who has admired Steve’s work from afar submitted the nomination stating, “Under Smith’s 5 years of leadership, AAHPM has become a medical society on the upswing—truly an innovator.” Congratulations, Steve.
