In business, our association partners come first, period. AMC is dedicated to furthering our partners' missions through collaboration, strategic leadership, and vision. We make sure our clients have the tools needed to advance their mission, whether it is board training or advice on how to get started with social-networking tools.

AMC measures success by growing clients, whether it's by growing membership, increasing revenue, aligning missions with changing times, or positioning our partners as experts in their respective fields. Growth, in any of these forms, is our long-term goal.

Employees

AMC's unyielding commitment to its clients extends to its staff as well. AMC respects employees for their expertise and skills and encourages their desires to grow both professionally and personally. Fortunately, this commitment is reciprocated: The average tenure among staff members is 5 years, and the average length-of-stay of AMC executives is 10 years.

AMC employees are leaders in association management. AMC is proud to be a charter ASAE-accredited [American Society of Association Executives] association management company and is accredited by the AMC Institute. Many of our staff members have advanced degrees, and our staff includes certified association executives, certified meeting professionals, certified exhibit managers, and certified public accountants. Many staff members are known experts in the field and present regularly at industry conferences and frequently write for industry publications.

Community

AMC's culture of caring also extends into the community. We embrace the importance of volunteerism, are committed to making positive contributions to the community, and support other organizations that enhance the quality of life of those in need.

At AMC, that commitment is demonstrated through our enduring passion for helping others. In 2005, we extended our commitment to Habitat for Humanity by founding and actively participating in Solid Rock Carpenters (SRC), a nonprofit organization that constructs homes in devastated areas of the country, most recently in Louisiana. SRC was honored in 2009 with an Award of Excellence in the Associations Advance America Awards program, sponsored by ASAE & The Center for Association Leadership. We actively encourage our staff to volunteer—and even implemented a volunteer reward program.

AMC also is committed to improving the environment. Our Environmental Stewardship Committee was founded to promote environmental sustainability in the office, our homes, and at our client meetings.
